The mission of the Single Adult Ministry of Immanuel is to be committed to loving God, serving Christ and ministering to all people.
Vision
The vision of Immanuel’s Single Adult Ministry is to provide an environment that enhances each member’s Spiritual growth through Bible Study, sharing Jesus and ministering to others.
Bible Study
Bible Study is essential to our spiritual growth. Come join us for Bible Study with your peers ~ we have a place for everyone!
The Core is a small group designed to empower this generation of young adults, both single and married, to use their gifts for the benefit of people and the purposes of God.
Join us after the HighPoint Service (11:45 am) for a free lunch in “Tops Café.”
If you’re interested in making new friends and studying God’s Word together then YOU NEED TO BE THERE!
TNT
26-34 Year Olds “The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me” Psalms 138:8 The TNT (Twenty 'N Thirty) class is an active, engaging group. They schedule monthly activities, eat dinner together weekly and are actively involved in Mission endeavors. This Bible Study group meets in Room 239 and generally gets started by 10:15 each Sunday. Kirkpatrick Class
35-45 Year Olds Romans 8:37 "...in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Each season of life presents special challenges. This is true of single adults 35-45 years old. This active group meets in Room 256 and begins around 10:15 each Sunday.
Single Spirit
46-63 Year Olds “I can do everything through him who gives me strength…” Philippians 4:13 This bible Study group, called Single Spirit, is made up of members 46 to 63 years of age. They are active in missions endeavors as well as social functions. They meet in room 243 at 10:15 a.m. Sunday mornings.
Open Door
64+ Year Olds “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22 This very active group eats together frequently and has a great Bible Study. Always looking for new members, this is a perfect place for you to get plugged in to Immanuel life. They meet in Room 245 and begin each Sunday morning around 10:15.
Divorce Care for Adults
Thirteen-week sessions of Divorce Care for Adults are held Wednesday from 5:30-7:15 p.m. This Christ-centered program is designed to help those who’ve gone through divorce to discover hope for the future and experience God’s healing. Our next session will be February 17 – May 19, 2010. A workbook accompanies the class; cost $10. Contact Ann Kennedy at 396-3344 to enroll.
