About Women's Ministry
Immanuel’s Women’s Ministry exists in order to help you grow in your relationship with the Lord. We want you to experience spiritual growth through Bible study and develop lasting friendships through fellowship and service together. We are here to equip you to share the gospel in your part of the world and minister to the un-churched in our community.
All women, college-age and above, are welcome in everything we do! Please scroll through this page so you can become familiar with the wonderful opportunities available through the IBC Women’s Ministry!
In the fall and spring we offer great Bible studies such as those from Beth Moore, Prisiclla Shirer and Kay Arthur. Not only that but many more studies are taught by women from Immanuel.
Immanuel also host Bible Study Fellowship for women, as well as Community Bible Study for women.
Bible Studies For Women

André Hutson -Precepts: Wrestling with God- A study on Isaac, Jacob and Esau (Genesis 4)
God renews His covenant promise with Abraham through Isaac and Jacob. Two struggling nations arise from Isaac's sons, Jacob and Esau. The truths we learn about God can guide our faith, helping us see His purposes in our lives. The Precept Inductive Bible Study Method shows you how to discover the truth yourself. Precept Inductive Bible Study Method uses a straightforward investigative approach to open the Bible and build the context for each statement it contains. Email bahutson@sbcglobal.net.
Pat Newton - Mom's Time & Apples of Gold
Women are searching for community, camaraderie and companionship. They also want to grow and mature in their mothering skills as well as in
their spiritual lives. “Mom’s Time” and Apples of Gold fills all of these needs. It’s not just a mentoring program; it’s not just a cooking class.
It’s a nurturing, intergenerational connection that teaches women how to love their husbands, love their children, and practice submission,
hospitality, kindness and purity.
Shugie Collingsworth will be leading Beth Moore’s updated study, Breaking Free: The Journey, The Stories. Based on Isaiah 61, Beth’s latest release includes testimonies of how women have found freedom from their personal captivity. This in-depth Bible study draws parallels between the captive Israelites and today’s believers.
